Lucina stood in shock. This was impossible. Robin wouldn't...no. And yet...there Naga stood. It was the truth. Unless she did something, it was all over. But...this was ridiculous.
"Come on!" Cried Olivia. She was already standing in front of the portal...but she was too scared to go in herself. Typical.
"Go forth." Naga repeated. "I can't keep this open for long." And yet something held her back...
"No...no! She's still in there! I can help her!" She couldn't leave her father's friend alone with her body being...just the thought made her cringe.
"What do you mean, help me?" An evil, demonic voice erupted from behind her. Shit.
"Everyone, go!" She shouted, waving the falchion angrily. Gerome nodded, taking alight. He grabbed Olivia flying through. Everyone else sorta sprinted after as an afterthought.
"What is there to fix?" The voice crackled and ruptured with each sound, almost like her vocal chords were on fire. "I'm fine, really. I'd even say ecstatic. I've tried convincing you, but you refuse to-"
"NO!" Lucina took a battle stance, pointing the dragonslayer squarely at the thing she planned to cut with it...that is, if she could. "Robin...Robin wouldn't..." The figure laughed a sick, distorted laugh, pointing at her.
"You know, I kept trying to find ways to spare you but I guess you aren't worth the effort. Di-ah medamnit! You ran while I was in a monologue! Asshat!" Having concluded, she sprinted after to join her target.
That was a few months ago. Or...damn, time travel was confusing. Her compatriots apparently scattered, which made things...awkward. She'd met her father, and rescued her aunt from zombies. Bu something was different-Robin. Her words were the only "company" she'd had for months.
"What's there to fix?" She wasn't being controlled. She was...she'd betrayed them. Lucina steeled herself. Tonight, her other aunt died.
At least, she was supposed to.
