Stupid councilors! Sometimes I think they shall drive me mad with their bickering and backbiting. There is no need for any discussion; the matter is settled and all but done. It is far past time to remind them that councilor means advisor, and that I, as Steward, may choose whether to take their advice or not! A seat at the Council table is not a sinecure nor does it give them a vote. I am the ruler of this land until the King comes. Mine is the authority and mine the responsibility to decide what is best for Gondor, and no one else's.
