Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, or Hermione or Luna – they belongs to JK Rowling & a couple of publishing companies. I only own an evil Plot Bunny called Bronwen.

Will possibly be added to, I have a few consequences of her visit floating around, it's just a matter of pinning them down.

Dear Hermione,

Thank you for your lovely Christmas present! It's just what Daddy and I need to keep our hands warm here in Outer Mongolia. And the shades of orange and blue are exactly the colour of the fur of the rare two-toed hornswoggler that Daddy is looking for here, so I know that they will bring us luck!

Have you ever done Side-Along Apparition? Harry told me once he had with Professor Dumbledore, but you never mentioned if you had done the same. It is a very odd experience, not at all like a Portkey. I don't think I like it very much; I hope Daddy can organise a Long-Distance Floo to get home again.

I nearly got caught by a Nargle the other day, but Daddy managed to trap it before it bit me. He's taking it with us until he can find a suitable tree with other Nargles to let it go.

Daddy's just called for me, he's been told about a sighting of the Hornswoggler in the next valley over! I'll leave this for the next Long-Distant Post Owl which is due some time this week. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Love Luna
