Sadly, I don't own She's The Man, but don't we all wish we did...LOL

Duke's POV:

-Flashback-

"Duke...we need to talk."

"Yeah, babe." I lean down and kiss her on the lips, but she gives me her cheek instead.

"Umm...I don't think this is working out."

"What isn't working out?"

"Our relationship."

"What are you saying?"

"We're both going our separate ways in a couple of weeks and I think..."

"You think our relationship isn't going to survive?" I ask angrily.

"It's not that...I think we should see other people."

"Do you not love me anymore?"

"No, I love you with all my heart." She says in tears.

"Then why do we have to break up?"

"It's just...that I think this isn't working out."

"But...I don't get it. We're perfect for each other, how come you're doubting us?"

"Duke...I have to go."

"Vi...please don't go. Can you just tell me what's going on?"

"I'm sorry, I can't. It'll ruin you and I can't let that happen."

"What are you talking about?"

"Goodbye Duke. I'll always love you forever." She pulls out my hand and gives me back the necklace I gave her on our first year anniversary.

"No, Vi. Just tell me, c'mon. You just can't give up, we can through this. Just tell me what's wrong, I'll change or I'll make it better. Please, don't leave." I beg and grab her wrist. She takes my hand away and turns to look at me one last time.

"Duke, always remember one thing. I will always love you." She kisses me and whispers against my lips. "Never forget."

-End of Flashback-

And that was the last time I saw Viola Hastings.
