Light always knew that if he was careful and planned everything perfectly, nothing could go wrong. He could continue killing criminals and giving judgment to the world. No one would be able to stop him, since he covered his tracks carefully. The Japanese Police Department wasn't a threat and would never be one. However, L was the problem. Every move Light made as Kira, L was right behind him, investigating and always figuring out more facts about Kira. But Light was one step ahead of L, always ahead of him. L would never figure out that he was Kira, due to a certain fake rules in the Death Note, but just in case, Light would dispatch divine justice onto L.

I win, L

Light Yagami was Kira and Misa Amane was the second Kira. That was final. All evidence pointed to them, but that stupid Matsuda had to point out that according to the rules of the Death Note, Light and Misa couldn't be Kira or the second Kira. But even if this "Death Note" is real and the rules are genuine, Light Yagami and Misa Amane are still Kira and the second Kira. Logic and reason cannot explain how I know this, but it's true. I'm watching you, Light, or should I say: Kira?

I win, Light Yagami

The Kira case. Such an interesting puzzle. It was obvious that the new L was Kira, but Near needed a confession. A confession from Kira. From Light Yagami. From the new L. He needed it to solve the last pieces of the broken puzzle the real L left him.

I win, "L"

Stupid Near. Damn it, Mello would always be second best to Near. Of course, if they counted L in their competition, Mello would be third. Nothing made Mello's blood boil more than losing, especially to Near. But he would win soon. He would find Kira and defeat Near. He would be number one!

I win, Near
