Welcome Home Present
Emily Prentiss walked to her best friend, JJ's office. She had missed the blonde a lot more than she could imagine and needed to see her.
It had been six months since she had last seen JJ. For Emily, that was a lot.
Knocking at the door, Emily saw JJ motion for her to enter.
"Hey Jay"
"Emily, I have something for you" JJ replied, pulling two necklaces out of her pocket and handing one to Emily.
"These are friendship necklaces. You wear one half and I wear the other. Now, we'll never feel alone, wherever we are".
Emily hugged JJ tightly and began to cry. Nodding her thanks, she promised herself that she would never abandon her friends again, even in the darkest times.
