"Hey," I say to Aang, blushing madly. Of course, my back is turned around. I can't show that I have a weak side. I'm a blind earthbender. I need to be more tough than other earthbending girls and you want to know why? Cuz I'm BLIND! People take one fucking short glance in my direction and think, "Oh, look. A poor, small, fragile blind girl." They always think like that...

"Good morning, Toph." Aang yawns. "How are you?"

"I'm fine Twinkletoes. Wanna practice your earthbending? It still could use some work." That is literally the only way I could hang out with the kid. Why am I saying this? He's older than me!

"Sure. Let's go." he says. Wait alone?

"Uh.. Don't you want to wait for Sugar Queen or Sparky?" I ask. Aang seems interested in Katara, so I lay off a bit. Ever since she learned bloodbending, I started to be nicer to Sweetness. I mean controlling the blood inside the body, that's just shitty and very very creepy.

"Nah. Just you and me. C'mon. Anyways, Katara told me she liked Zuko a week or two back at The Western Air Temple." he tells me, not that disappointed at all.

"Well whatever you say," I answer back. We find a pretty ample amount of space.

We get into our stances and realize something. "Wait!"

"What, Toph?" he says whining.

"Come here." I tell him. He comes over. I took a deep breath and asked, "Do you have anything to cover your eyes?"

"Uh... I guess my sash will do?" he says uncertainly.

I nod. "Give it." I open my hand and he gives me a fist, I then feel a ribbon of cloth. "Turn around, Aang." He turns and his heart rate speeds up. "Dude. Your heart rate is so high that I'm so close to vibrating myself. Relax." I finish tying my knot and I lay my hand on his shoulder.

"You ready?" I ask. I feel him nod. We walk to our spot and get into our stance. I feel a boulder, not a big rock, being chunked out of the ground and it's flying towards me. I make a shield and it cracks when the boulder makes contact with it. I break the shield into about a hundred of pieces and shoot them all at Aang. Look, I may like Aang, but that's not going to beat my earthbending fighting record. You shit brains hear that?! No one can beat ME! I am the greatest earthbender alive!

I feel a thud on the ground and realize it's Aang. I touch his arm and it's bleeding, a lot. He shudders. It's been cut. I feel an arrow nearby. I make him lie on his face. Sorry, Aang. There's a burn. Someone else must be here. I feel someone else. There seems to be a guy on a rhino. No, there's five of them!

"Katara! Zuko! Sokka! Suki! Help!" I can take out a few of them, like the firebending guy, but the guy with the arrow, they're made of wood and he's on a rhino! I can only feel the rhino!

"What?!" yells Sokka.

"Help!" I feel all five rhinos surrounding me. I aim a chunk of rock at a rhino and I hear a grunt, I feel a guy stand up and a rhino thundering away. I aim a chunk of rock at thee figure walking and something pierce my arm. Shit! It must really suck to not be able to see.

I feel everyone from our little gaang coming. In a few minutes, they tell me that these guys were the rough rhinos who sneak on people very well.

"Wait, where's Aang?" Katara asks.
