Prologue
Trudy walks in with Victor and says
"Listen up, sweeties. We have an announcement."
Amber shrieks "Omigod, no waaaaaaaaaay! You two are engaged?! I never thought I`d see the day!"
Both Trudy and Victor look stunned. Then both start denying it.
"What? No, no, no! That will never happen! There`s more chance of Nina dating Joy!"
Amber sits down. "What is it then? We aren`t getting rid of either of you."
Trudy laughs. "You wish. No, we`ve set up a camping trip. Now, as it`s mid-autumn, I advise you to pack warm clothes and nightwear. And practical walking shoes, no pencil thin heels."
At this everyone looks at Amber. Miss Fashionista.
"What? Ohhh, gross, Trudy! Walking? Muddy fields? Urgh... fine."
Just then two people enter, carrying tents. Fabian and Nina stand up.
"What the heck are you doing here?"
Patricia says "Oh, rats, Vera. Haven`t you caused enough trouble with Victor and Trudy?"
"No. It was them who invited me."
Everyone gives Trudy and Victor odd looks, knowing about Trudy`s famed hatred of Vera.
Nina says "Who invited Jasper, then?"
Jasper smiles at Trudy. "Trudy, of course. The poor thing says she misses having a laugh."
Trudy smiles at him. "You know I do."
"We`ll have plenty time to have a laugh together on this holiday."
Patricia and Eddie grin evilly. "That`s not all you two`ll be doing, is it?"
"Well. We`ll be walking, cooking, and generally keeping you kiddies out of trouble."
Mara smiled. "Oh, yeah. As best you can. What about the new girl?"
"Well, she`s not coming until the week after the holiday."
"Trudy, have you got the room organisation fixed up?"
"Yes, I have. No worries, it`s not endangering anyone. Into the car, people."
