So.. hey! This is drabble-y thing I needed to get out of my system. Also, it's 1:00 AM, I can't sleep, so I wrote 'cause it's the chicken soup for my soul. . It's Victoire/Teddy/Dominique love triangle. But in the end Dom/Teddy wins because it is ever so much more awesome. Hope you enjoy it.

Where's that diamond ring you promised?
My finger's looking bare.
Where's that Valentine, be honest,
The postman didn't bring it here.

She can feel him slipping away. Every longing look, every lingering touch, every laugh they shared... It was all dragging him away from her.

They used to be perfect, you know. Cliche and unoriginal, but perfect. Meant to be, she thinks. She loved him and he was infatuated with her on some level.

She can't see why they're so... so... so intoxicated with each other.

She's beautiful, she knows she is. He should love her because she's perfect and it's destiny. And she loves him as much as she can. But maybe she'll never love him as much as Dominique does.

They don't make each other happy, at least not the way Dominique can make him grin. Their relationship is a sham and she knows it, but she won't admit to him. She's clinging to this sinking ship as long as she can.

Denial is quite easy for her, really. She realizes in a way, she's been doing it all her life.

The thing I wasn't looking for
I found in your bedroom drawer
The letter that you loved her better,
Made me want you even, more

He tells her he's leaving. She screams and shouts and begs and pleads, but he walks right out of the door. Without a real goodbye.

His eyes are imprinted in to her mind. What color were they? Blue? Brown? Green? She can't seem to remember. He was always moving too fast for her to catch him. She could never keep up.

She wishes he'd give her back all her wasted time.

She thinks she loved him the best she could. But she could've loved him better. Maybe she loved him too much.

Where is all that time you promised?
The first hand's on the three.
Where's the second hand, I'm bothered,
To see it stroking on her knee.
