Okay so this is my first story ever. So I hope you enjoys it!
Percy
Percy was still trying to stay calm, but he was falling to his death. But one thing was still on his mine, Annabeth. Percy couldn't let her take the fall. He was still holding her hand when he saw the end of the pit. So pulled Annabeth close and took the fall for both him and Annabeth. He heard a scream of pain. It was Annabeth, so he looked over and saw that her ankle was bent, well let's just say not well. Percy tried to stand but he just fell in pain. He did the one thing he could he took the backpack and slid towards Annabeth. As soon as Annabeth saw him she let out a gasp. Percy was worried it was a monster but Annabeth just pointed to his face and chest. Percy looked at his reflection given off from Riptide and saw what Annabeth meant. His face was covered in scrapes and blood. He didn't care, he cared more about Annabeth broken ankle.
"Annabeth are you alright?" Percy was now digging through the backpack to find some ambrosia and nectar for Annabeth.
"Well I'm good I guess, even though we're in Tartarus seaweed brain." Annabeth replied.
"Wow wise girl I was just wondering. So is the ambrosia and nectar working? "Annabeth nodded.
"Percy do you think we will make it out of Tartarus?" Annabeth asked.
Percy wanted to say 'I don't think so', but he had to lie to Annabeth. He couldn't bear to see her sad.
So Percy replied, "I know we will because I have you."
When Percy said this Annabeth blushed. Then he leaned in for a kiss. For a second he forgot he was in Tartarus. Then Annabeth leaned away quickly.
"What's wrong Annabeth?" Percy asked.
"Do you hear that Percy?" Annabeth asked pulling closer to Percy. He didn't hear anything at first. Then he hear it. It sounded like well what reminded him of Mrs. O'Leary, Percy's hellhound.
"That sounds like a pack of hellhounds." Percy replied. Percy got Annabeth up, but when he tried to get up he fell.
"Percy are you okay?" Annabeth asked. He looked pale and very scared.
"Yah I just can't get up. Annabeth the hellhounds are getting closer."
Annabeth finally got Percy up just as the hellhounds where about 50 yards away. Her ankle was now fully healed, so she grabbed Percy and ran. Percy finally pulled away after about 10 or 15 minutes of running. He couldn't run anymore. He sat down and Annabeth sat down right next to him. It seemed to be peace fully now. Percy was now drifting to sleep and Annabeth was right next to him. She put her head on Percy's chest. Then Annabeth and him where fast asleep.
