Disclaimer: I do not own Power Rangers.
A/N: Um, I overheard something today, or rather, I misheard something. This is the result of that.
Jo sighed as she settled back in her chair, it had been a long night, and they were still calling California. Her headset beeped and she focused on the screen. "Hello?" She said, to make sure there was a real person on the phone.
"Hello?" A man said back.
Jo smiled, because people could tell when you smiled and were sometimes more polite. "Hi, my name is Jo, can I speak with Tommy Oliver please?"
"This is Tommy," the man said, confused.
"Hi, Mr. Oliver," Jo said, "I'm calling to conduct a survey and was hoping I could have a few minutes of your time."
"First," Tommy Oliver said, "it's Doctor Oliver, and second, what kind of survey?"
"I apologize, Doctor Oliver," Jo said promptly, "this is a political survey about local leaders."
"Well," Dr. Oliver said, "I might take this survey, it depends. Are any of the candidates psychic, evil or a Power Ranger?"
Jo jerked, barely able to stop the 'what?' from coming out of her mouth. "Uh," she said instead, "I don't think so."
"Well," Dr. Oliver said, "in that case, I don't think I'll be voting this year. I wish you better luck with your next caller." He hung up.
Jo stared at the screen, barely hearing her supervisor telling her to go home. It was, without a doubt, the most unique reason for someone to refuse to do a survey.
