Hey Guys!
I'm back from a long hiatus
So I thought, what better way to say I'm back then a BBRAE fanfic?

With that out of the way please RxR
It was a Friday night in the tower.
Cyborg was out at the car show, Starfire and Robin were at the movies, Raven was…..probably better if I didn't say,
And Beastboy was sitting in the common room eating sour patch kids.
He would scrunch his face up when he would first eat one because of its sourness, but then a content look would spread upon his face when it turned sweet.
Suddenly, Raven walked into the room, a frowning scowl, upon her face as she sat down next to the changeling.
Pausing in his activity, Beastboy set his bag of sour patch kids on his lap and turned to the upset half demon.
"What's wrong Rae?"
The young sorceress looked up at the green teen, then looked back down at her lap.
Beastboy moved closer to the young empath and calmly took her face into his hands.
"Raven, what's wrong." He asked sincerely
Raven moved her face out of her hands and looked back down at her lap again, fumbling with her hands and chewing on her bottom lip.
Just as beastboy was about to ask her again she said
"Someone called me a heartless, emotionless witch as I was walking back from the bookstore today."
Beastboy's jaw dropped, and he shook his head. He couldn't believe that someone called Raven; beautiful, amazing, Raven such a cruel thing.
"Raven, you're not anything close to a heartless, emotionless witch!" Beastboy told her seriously.
Raven looked back up at him and shook her head.
"Yes I am, I'm so mean to you Beastboy, I can't imagine why you even want to spend time with me.
Beastboy couldn't believe his ears, he had to fix this.
"No, you're not Raven, you're like, like….."
He looked around, trying to find something to compare Raven and caught sight of the bag of sour patch kids sitting on his lap and found inspiration.
"Raven, you're like a bag of Sour Patch Kids."
Raven looked at him with her eyebrow raised.
"Just hear me out." The jade-skinned changeling pulled out a small red candy from his bag and held it out for her to see.
"Most people don't like Sour Patch Kids, because they're sour." Here Beastboy popped the little candy into his mouth and right when he did, he made a face and continued talking, "-but if you keep eating it, it turns sweet."
He took out two more and handed Raven one, to which she grudgingly took from him and popped it into her mouth just like he popped his into his own mouth.
She immediately tasted the sour and was about to spit it out but a look from Beastboy made her keep eating it.
And as she was, she noticed the sour dissipate and it was replaced by a overgrowing sweetness.
She swallowed, and looked over at Beastboy who was smiling softly at her and looking back down at his bag of sour patch kids.
"First they're sour, but then they're sweet. Most people taste the sour and immediately stop eating them, but if they were to take the time, they'd notice how sweet it is. I like Sour Patch Kids, they're my favorite." He looked up at Raven and she couldn't help but notice a small glimmer of admiration in his eyes.
She blushed and smiled softly at him. Taking another one and eating it before kissing the startled changeling softly on the mouth.
She smiled at him once more before leaving
"I like you too."
