Later that evening, at the top of Titans Tower, Raven was meditating for the first time in ages. "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos." she said chanting. At that moment, someone began contacting her contacted her through telepathy.
"Raven, is it really you?"
"Mother?" asked Raven in disbelief.
"Raven, I'm so glad you made it. You were right, even absolute destiny can be changed. You've restored my faith in true miracles," said Raven's Mother
"Thank you Mother, but for awhile I was certain that everything that happened would be absolute as you said. But my friends believed in me no matter how hopeless it got. If not for them, the prophecy might've remained as it was. Thanks to them, I now know I always had a future beyond the prophecy. I'm no longer a portal, but still a person."
"Well said Raven, well said." said Raven's Mother and ended her telepathy. At that point, Beat Boy came up to Raven very cautiously. "Raven, it's time for dinner."
"Ok, I'll be down soon." she replied.
"And Raven,"
"Yeah,"
Beast Boy began to blush and nearly forgot what to say, "I'm glad you're safe with us." and dashed off.
