Chapter one - Scurrying to the train.
One foot after another, best friends Maya and Riley scurry down the familiar, crowded and dull looking subway to catch the next train to school, it was a Friday, Maya's second favourite day of the week. (Saturday is her first, duh.) They quickly jump past the doors as they close just squeezing past. It's crowded and very uncomfortable. This was Riley's favourite train, this train had lots of memories from Riley falling into her lover's lap to having her amazing date with Lucas on the same cart. This story isn't about Riley or Lucas. This is the story about when Maya fell into the lap of the new kid, Zay Babineaux. As Maya held on tight to the rail in the centre of the train, Riley notices out of the corner of her eye, Maya won't stop staring at something. It was a boy, Maya was looking like she just saw a pony. She glanced at him, back at her and a smile crept up on the corners of Riley's mouth into this cute evil smile. *This worked for me and Lucas, this better work for you*. Riley loosens Maya's grip as the brakes are pushed, she trips, having her feet swept from underneath her. This leaves her crashing onto the lap of the new boy, Isaiah Babineaux.
