Hello Everyone! This story is unique and may be confusing to some of you, so I have made a little Index sort of thing to help explain it. It helps people who have not read Cassandra Clares books and/or have not seen Big Hero 6. I know it's weird, but please give it a chance. Thank you!

FULL SUMMARY:

Hiro Hamada is a Shadowhunter, but he isn't at all like the rest. Along with his slightly inhuman appearance, he possesses a mysterious power that no other person nor creature has ever had. He is kidnapped by two warlock sisters and tortured into learning his talent. Back at the Institute, his elder brother Tadashi is working on a clockwork invention no one has ever seen before. But some people would kill to get their hands on it. One particular person almost goes as far as killing every Nephilim alive to have control over the creation. The Shadowhunters are deeply confused why anyone would want the invention, until they learn that there are darker uses for it. With the Shadowhunters skill and Hiro's power, Europe will hopefully not end up in a sea of blood.

For those of you who have NOT read the Mortal Instruments/Infernal Devices series:

Shadowhunters(also known as Nephilim)- half angel, half humans who live to rid the world of demons and keep Downworlders(see below) in place.

Downworlders- creatures consisting of vampires, werewolves, faeries, warlocks, any mundane who has supernatural powers.

Mundane- another word for human.

The Institute- the place where the Shadowhunters live. It is hidden by glamours so that the mundane eye cannot see it.

Glamours- magic that the Shadowhunters use to make themselves or anything of theirs invisible.

Runes/Marks- runes are drawn onto Shadowhunter skin with a tool called a stele. The runes can give the Shadowhunters various powers depending on what rune was carved into them.

Stele- a glowing stick that can heal wounded Shadowhunters and carve runes into them.

Silent Brothers- men who cannot speak with their mouth, therefore communicating through telepathy. They are the healers of Shadowhunters and Downworlders.

The Clave- the government of the Shadow world.

The Inquisitor- a person who carries out the Claves wishes and questions culprits of crimes.

For those of you who have NOT seen/know anything about Big Hero 6 or want to know general plot of story(I strongly advise everyone to read!):

Hiro- main protagonist. In this story, he is a Shadowhunter.

Tadashi- Hiro's big brother who dies in a fire(in movie). In this story, he is a Shadowhunter and inventor.

Abigail- daughter of Yokai(villain in the movie). In this story, she is the female head of the Institute(also a Shadowhunter).

Gogo- adrenaline junkie with a rebellious attitude(in both). In this story, she is a Shadowhunter.

Honey Lemon- sweet ladylike person, yet somewhat vain(for story). Also a Shadowhunter.

Wasabi- neat freak(in both). Mundane servant for Shadowhunters.

Fred- comic book obess(in movie). Male head of Institute, but could truly care less about it. Prefers to spend time inventing.

Cass- Hiro and Tadashi's aunt(in movie). She is head cook at the Institute.

Mr. Yama- illegal gambler(in movie). Rouge werewolf in story.

Mochi- family cat. Roams Institute.

Now for the character roles(for Infernal Devices(Clockwork Angel) readers):

Hiro=Will(slightly aged down)

Tadashi=Jem(slightly aged up)

Abigail=Charlotte

Gogo=Sophie(Shadowhunter style)

Honey=Jessamine

Wasabi=Thomas

Fred=Henry

Cass=Agatha

Mr. Yama=werewolf

Mochi=Church

Villain will stay secret

(Unless you guys are up for an OC on top of all this confusing info, there is no Tessa)

Note: Hiro-for the story-does not look like the rest of the Shadowhunters. He has huge black wings(like Maleficent's but twice as big), pale yellow eyes that slit like a cats when he gets angry and black eyeshadow-like circles around his eyes. All other Shadowhunters look exactly like humans.

Thank you everyone for reading this! I hope it cleared up some things! Even if it doesn't look understandable, please give my story a chance:):)
