I sat on Dean's bed, leaning over him and gently shaking him awake. "Dean? Dean?"

He huffed and rolled over onto his back, smiling when he opened his eyes and saw me, "What's up? We got a case?" he mumbled sleepily.

"Nope" I grinned.

He groaned and draped his arm over his face, "Why'd you wake me up then?"

"Just get up and get dressed"

"Why?"

"Just do it, boy" He sighed and sat up. "Be quick, we'll be in the kitchen"

He stared at me in confusion, but started getting dressed anyway. I closed his door behind me and ran off to the kitchen to make sure Sam had everything ready.

...

Dean stumbled down the corridor, not yet awake. He rubbed his eyes and said, "Right, why am I awake?"

I laughed and Sam tunelessly began to sing, "Happy birthday to you," I joined in, "happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear De-ean, happy birthday to you"

"Hip hip" Sam said.

"Hurray!"

"Hip hip"

"Hurray!"

"Hip hip"

"Hurray!"

Dean smiled and laughed, nodding to himself, "Okay, you surprised me, well done" he broke into a grin when he saw the pie on the table, with a candle on top, he laughed loudly, "Thanks" He came round the table and pulled Sam into a hug, dragging his younger brother down to his height. Then he turned to me, catching me up in his arms and spinning me round, putting me back down with a kiss on my cheek. "You two spoil me" he said, wrapping an arm round my waist.

"Well, it's your birthday" Sam said, "Now blow out your candle" the taller sibling lifted the blueberry pie he'd ran out earlier to get.

Dean gave a huff and blew out the little flame, looking so pleased with everything. He hugged Sammy and me to him, pulling us close. He rubbed Sam's back then kissed my forehead, "Thank you, so much"
