Disclaimer: I don't own Star Trek.

So I was watching Amok Time (again), and I was wondering: What happened to Spock's computer after he smashed it? I was just wondering… The poor ensign who's sent to fix it…

So here is what I think happened. Note: takes place while Kirk, Spock and Bones are down on Vulcan, and Scotty is in temporary control of the Enterprise.

Uhura frowned, putting her hand to her ear. "Mr. Scott, sir, I'm getting a report from the lead technician that there is an unresponsive computer unit onboard… it's not giving any signal at all. He is requesting permission to send someone to fix it, sir." Scotty, sitting in the captain's chair, turned to face her. "Ye sure? No signal at all? Well, go right ahead." Uhura nodded, and had finished relaying the message when Scotty turned to her in an afterthought. "Where was this computer, anyways?" Uhura put her hand to her ear, looking baffled. "It was in… Mr. Spock's quarters, sir." Everyone on the bridge was blown away. Mr. Spock? How would he ever let something happen to the computer in his own quarters? "…Huh." was all Scotty said.

Technician Ricky and engineer Jordan were sent to diagnose, and hopefully fix, the problem. They keyed in the 'skeleton code' to Mr. Spock's door, and walked inside. The first thing they noticed was the heat. It was very, very warm in Spock's quarters. This made sense, they figured, because Spock was from Vulcan, a very hot planet, but… phew! Then they saw the computer.

Or what was left of it. It looked… destroyed. Like someone had just smashed it in. "Whoah! Ricky, ya see that?" Jordan elbowed his friend, who looked pale. "But… that's… what happened?" They went up to the computer unit. Sure enough, it had just crumpled, completely unsalvageable. "But… how could someone have done that? And who would do such a thing to Mr. Spock's computer? He'd kill them." Ricky was baffled. "Especially now-he's been acting really weird lately, right? Man, whoever did this is gonna be really sorry." Jordan pointed out. Then he looked closer.

"…Holy shit!" "What is it?" "Someone smashed this with their fists!" "But no one could have done that! It's not physically possible!" Ricky cried. Jordan looked grim. "Not for a human, no." Ricky's eyes suddenly got wide. "You mean-Spock smashed his own computer?! How strong is that dude?" "Strong enough to crumple titanium alloy, apparently." Jordan said grimly. "And he's been really touchy lately… Shit, I feel sorry for anyone who ever has to fight the guy."

:D Hope you enjoyed it! Please review!
