I was 14 when we bought out new home. we was forced to move from a lack of citezens moving to become tributes in the fire houses. my name is kelly, kelly montgomery.
i have 2 dads and no mom and 1 little sister and brother and a older brother. Our new house had a pool house and a pool, 2 car garage and a 2 story house. it was huge, more space than we needed, more than we wanted.
The fire houses began after the country of panem was burned. after the hunger games the remaining people of the country decided to turn to modern times. They wanted peace,but when they realized they elected the wrong president, its like the dark days allover again. None of us noticed untill the seal appeared and the fire games was announced to start.
The last fire house was the Goth family down the road. luckily most of there children wernt greedy,but one of the non-greedy ones died anyway.
The first stage in the fire houses is the trap, wich starts at midnight. The trap is where they lead a non-greedy kid into a empty space and delete the door.
They replace all the walls with Full-Sized windows and force the family to wacth the person, he usually donsnt die unless they get to close to the fire then thats when the remaining family has to watch him burn to death.
The second part is the greedys, wich is where if you want food or sleep, they will suround you with that object. If your lucky they wont put the fire jets and let you burn. The gods also replace the back wall with windows and make them watch.
The third part is where the tv goes blank and no-one has lived to tell about it, if someone tells then they are sentenced to death and the witnesses become slaves.
The fourth part is where the remaining family members come out and the house is burned. To get the unforchanate family, there is no reaping, no draw, no bet, the capitol desides the household, and the challenges.
while we was waiting, starring blankly into our tv screen, the countrys symbol appears and the President and first lady flash on.
normally we would dread this moment, but we knew what was coming,there was no time to dread, there was no time to cry, or to be sad, because when the president said that word our whole world turned upside down.
