Title: The Truth of My Life

Author: SilSolo

Summary: A warrior, or perhaps a holy man, writes the proof of a fundamental truth.

Characters: Yuuzhan Vong narrator

Timeframe: You decide. Mods, I'm not sure if I should put this in Beyond, so feel free to move it.

Notes: I was told that I'd have to take Intro to Analysis Calculus next year and my math teacher told me that it'll be mostly proofs, so I kinda had a flashback and a plot bunny. Of course, just as I am not completely logical, my story isn't, either.

Chronicles of Yun Yammka, Cortex Ompha, Canto 3

Life is tangible.

This is a given, a postulate not yet proven but most definitely true.

Pain is tangible.

Definition of pain: A sensation relayed via living neurons.

Pain ceases upon death.

This is a given, another postulate not proven.

To feel no pain equals death.

The opposite of death is life.

Life is therefore pain.

Life is also a fundamental truth, for we live.

Thus, pain is also a fundamental truth.

I exist if and only if I feel pain and pain is a fundamental truth.

I scarred myself and I feel this searing.

I hurt, therefore I am.

My pain is my backbone.

And your pain is my blood.
