Logan's POV

I never believed my brother was all feral, all beast. For a while, I'd been mullin' it over that maybe he had that split personality disorder. That maybe the feral was just a different personality. I didn't think he was capable of lovin' anyone, or at the very least carin' about anyone. He had this twisted obsession with me, he always had. He'd always have my back, had in the wars and would in any future wars. I knew this, but I never classed his feelings as love.

I had been walking around the building we were using as a base when I saw them. The couch in the corner of a small room was occupied by Victor and Wade. Wade had his head resting on Vic's lap; Vic's clawed fingers running through his hair. Wade appeared asleep, his injuries catching up with him obviously.

"Hi, Jimmy." Victor said.

"Victor." I replied.

"Beautiful when he's sleepin'."

"If you say so." I replied. He smirked at me then.

"He's in more pain than he lets on. I can smell it on him whenever he moves. He also hasn't been sleepin' all too well."

"Can you smell that too?"

"No." He said, his smirk turning into a grin.

"You been sharin' his bed, Vic? Stryker ain't gunna be happy about that."

"Stryker doesn't have to know."

"He'll find out."

"You gunna tell him, Jimmy?" Victor asked. I thought it over. I could tell the boss, out of spite to my older brother. But the look in Victor's eyes and the smell of his apprehension on him made me realize that I could never do that to him.

"No." I said, finally. He let out a breath. He nodded at me then, his way of thanking me.

"Vic?" Wade asked quietly.

"Yeah Wade?"

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too, kid." I left then, not wanting to interrupt them.

For the first time, I'd seen what I thought was the real Victor. Two days later he proved me wrong... or proved me right.

Either Victor was all animal or his animal personality was the dominant part.

Two days later, while on a mission, standing in a field full of men that the rest of our team were ready to kill, I walked away. I knew Victor would never come with me. He had Wade. I just hoped Wade could survive the beast.

I walked away and never looked back, never waited to find out which side would win: the beast or the man. I hoped it was the latter, but a part of me knew that the man didn't stand a chance.

A/N okay so I just HAD to write a Wade/Victor story. I never like Sabertooth until I saw him in the Liev Schreiber form. Lol yum! An Ryan Reynolds... nuff said.
