We have ridden a long ways. We are looking for my boy, James.
He rode away a long time ago. He left me his boy Jeff. I raised him
as my own.
But now he's becoming a man. He wants to know his Pa.
We have ridden a fair piece. We've heard a lot.
Some good, some not. Is my son a lawman?
Or an outlaw. I can't be sure any more.
What I do know is James still lives.
This we do know. There have been those
who tried to match him with a gun.
They failed. But that's how I taught
Him. That's how I taught James's son.
We can all handle a gun, and that's no brag
Just fact. We will go on and we will find my son
and Jeff's Pa. And that's no brag either.
