"You just stay away from my friend you stupid greasy bastard!" James Potter yelled at the Slytherin boy.
"In future I'll keep away from Black, he's no good to me now anyway!" Severus Snape screamed back. The two had been at it for the last hour, since Sirius had come into the Headboy's dorm, crying and sobbing that he had found 'Sevvie' cheating on him with a Slytherin boy. James had stormed out the door, found the hook nosed boy, locked him in a room and started shouting and hexing him.
That sentence was the final straw. Wand forgotten, James pounced on Snape, tackling him to the floor, his fingers wrapping round his neck.
As they rolled around on the floor, James stared into those handsome black eyes. They found themselves stopping on the floor, James under Snape, now that his fingers were touching his hair, it didn't feel that greasy, it felt more like silk.
They found themselves inches apart, looking at each other, the hatred gone and their eyes filled with lust.

2 months later...
"But why not Severus, I want to tell" James said to his boyfriend.
"No James, this was never meant to go where it is. We can't tell!" Severus replied and James frowned angrily.
"So I'm just some toy to you! There just to satisfy your urge!" James yelled and before Severus could reply, gathered up his clothes, threw his invisibility cloak on and left the room.

James waited for the perfect moment, it had been one week and now that he was sure it was truly over with Severus, he was ready for the ultimate revenge.
The moment came on a Saturday at Breakfast, the morning of Halloween, Snape was walking towards the Gryffindor table. James stood up and went to where some of the girls were sitting.
"Lily! Will you go out with me?" He asked Lily Evans boldly and loud enough for Severus to hear him.
"Ok James!" She said, shocking James, Severus and her friends alike.
"Really?"
"Really really!" She said and gave him a genuine smile. She stood up and he took her arm, both then walked gracefully out the hall, James catching one last look of Severus's shocked face.

As they entered the headboy and girl dorm kissing, James put all of Severus out of his minding, focusing on his desire that he had had his eye on since 3rd year. On their date, James had considered telling Lily that he couldn't do it. But Severus had appeared in the distance watching them and James had carried on, knowing he was getting himself in deeper and deeper.
He put his energy into Lily and an hour later, as both, sweaty and naked, lay down asleep, arms and legs entwined, neither aware of their just conceived first and only child...
