A Past That Haunts Her
Prologue
A girl with red hair walked up the steps of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. This girls name was Ginny Weasley, and she was attending her fith year at Hogwarts. Behind her was Ron Weasley who was her overly protected brother, Hermione Granger who was her best friend, and Harry Potter who had saved her life in her first year of Hogwarts.
She closed her eyes tightly. She had always wanted to just forget that year, for it was her worst year at Hogwarts. She sighed she knew that she would never forget that year, and she was afraid that she would never truely get over that year.
She opened the doors that led inside and walked torwards the Great Hall for dinner. Ron, Harry, Hermione, and herself had gone to see Hagrid. She walked torwards the Gryffindor table and Hermione sat besides her.
Sometimes Ginny envied Hermione. She had such a perfect life, unlike hers. Ginny was poor, and since she was the youngest Weasley, she recieved only worn out things. Like books and stuff like that.
She began to eat and she didn't even notice that Ron, Harry, and Hermione were all staring at her.
"Ginny?" said Ron looking at her.
"What Ron?" asked Ginny looking up from her food.
"Oh...just making sure you were all right. Your looking pale" said Ron.
"Are you coming down with something?" asked Hermione warmly.
"No 'Mione, I'm just fine. Actually...I think I'll be heading up to the Gryffindor common room so I'll see you later" said Ginny she stood up and left the Great Hall. She opened the doors that led out of the Great Hall and headed to the seventh floor.
She passed the Gryffindor's ghost on the way who stopped and smiled at her.
"Good evening Miss Weasley. May I ask why are you not in the Great Hall, eating dinner with the rest of the fellow Gryffindors?" asked Sir Nicolas.
"Well, I'm not so hungry so I decided to go up to the common room. I was feeling rather tired" said Ginny, using a fake yawn.
"Ah, well I hope you feel better, and I'll see you later Miss Weasley" said Sir Nicolas, he nodded at her and floated off.
Ginny watched as he left and then went up the last steps. Just then the stairs changed and switched around.
She soon saw a door in front of her which she had never seen before. She decided that she would see where this door led and she walked downstairs and opened the door.
Inside it seemed as though it was abandoned, and she looked around. Slowly around her the torches began to light up. She looked at the fire in the torches as they all lit up and she followed them tell it got to the end of the hall.
She soon found a stone door. She looked around, and soon remembered that this must of been the third floor, it was forbidden and she knew that she would get in trouble if she was caught.
But it seemed as though the door was calling her to open it. So slowly she reached for the door knob and turned to open it...
But it was locked.
She got out her wand and muttered "Alohomara" and the door opened slowly. Her eyes widened in fear when she saw what was in front of her...it was the three headed dog that Hermione had told her about, and it was slowly waking up.
