Trick or treat

It was a little past midnight when the room started to fill with the ruffling sounds of people in costumes. The Halloween party hosted by the Whammy house orphanage had just began.
Beyond Birthday crept stelthily into a dark abandoned corridor. With a smirk plastered onto his alibaster face. He cloaked himself in shadow, chuckling at the irony of his cheaply made vampire costume.
Echoing footsteps could be heard from somewhere down the long hall. Beyond closed his eyes and tryed to keep himself from giggling wildly. 'This is perfect. He'll never know what hit him.'
As a tall gangly figure came into his line of sight Beyond held his breath and waited for the perfect time to strike. The figure got closer, until there were only a few inches between him and the costume clad orphan.
With a final smirk Beyond Birthday lunged himself at the unsuspecting figure. Wrapping strong arms around the mans neck he slowly licked the pale ear.
"Trick or treat Lollipop."
"Ah! I suspected you would be hidding somewhere around here Backup."
Beyond directed a glare at his lovers neck.
"I hate it when you call me that."
L smirked at the pout he could feel slowly forming on his skin.
"And I hate it when you dissapear. Now come back to the party. They're playing the Monster Mash."
Beyond wrinkled his forhead in distaste. He hated that cheesy Halloween music and L new it. With a small huff he hopped down off of the detectives back.
"Fine have it your way." Without even a glance back he began to make his way into the crowded ball room. He didn't make it far before he was spun around and slammed into a wall. He gasped in suprise as a mouth slammed down onto his. After a moments hesitation he returned the lust filled kiss pulling away only when he needed to breath.
He looked into the onix eyes of the man infront of him with a questioning gaze.
"You gave me my trick so I gave myself a treat."
With one last peck on the lips L left the confused Beyond Birthday to marvel at his bold gesture.
