I Really Like You

He truly head over heels in love with Mrs. Lovett, though he knew she would not return his affections. She was bent on getting revenge for the Judge and what he did to her. She ran the pie shop, but spent the time when she had no customers plotting. He took her dear, darling Lily.
Lily was her first and only child, a true blessing. She would have been fourteen today. The daughter of her love, Benjamin Barker. He was gone now, even obvious to the fact that he had a child. Had was the key word. Both of them were gone now...
The bell to her shop dinged and she looked up to see no other than Sweeney Todd, the man renting the room above, running the barber shop, standing at the other side of the counter. She noticed he always lingered around her, after they were done talking. Mrs. Lovett was anything but blind to his attraction to her. But her love was Ben. His love was Lucy. Lucy had passed away soon after he left, leaving the space above the shop empty.
Sweeney raised an eyebrow as she stared into space. She did that often, even before she was technically a 'Lovett'. She must've been married some time.
"Elenor?"
"Yes, dear?" She shook her head from her thoughts.
"Have you ever... Thought about children?"
"Wot kind of question is that? I'm not married, let alone in a situation with enough money and..."
"And?"
She slammed down a washcloth she was using to wipe the counters with. "I can't. I had a wonderful li'le girl once. She was so beautiful... Dark hair like her father. Though he never knew her.. Two years, she was, when they took 'er. Said it was none of me concern. She would be fourteen today."
"If I may ask, who was her father?"
"A noble man. We were not wed. He had a lovely wife though- Yellow hair. Benjamin Barker was his name. Was taken away on false charges, poor thing. The judge stole them both from me."
Sweeney was shocked. So he had a daughter? "Nellie... I want you to know something."
"Well go on, tell me."
"I really like you."
Then Nellie woke with a start. It was all a dream... She looked over and saw Albert sleeping next to her, his back facing her. She looked down at her pregnant stomach and shut her eyes as she tried not to think about the Barker family living upstairs. She knew the baby had to be his. And it was. Her little baby... She'd meet it in only a few weeks.
Author's Note: I'll admit I had a little trouble with the ending. Thanks so much for reading! Sorry it's so short. I am trying to reach the goal of producing a story every day for as long as I can keep up! No chapter stories yet. They will come though.
Another Note: I currently do not have a computer. All of my Sweeney Todd stories have been written with Google Docs Mobile, I switch my FanFiction website to desktop, then copy/ paste and edit. It takes a long time, so please bear with me.
