Shepard the detective
Author's note: a parody/Noir version of Mass Effect, don't know if it is done before but I felt writing this.
This is told mostly by voice over by Shepard.
Chapter 1: Unexpected visit.
On a cold Thursday night in the year of 2183 I was sitting in my office with my feet on my desk trying to get some sleep as I do most of the time when I don't have client.
Times had been rather slow for weeks. It seemed like nobody needed the great detective Shepard or so I thought until.
The door opened there she was. A beautiful quarian, they don't usually have a need for a detective like me.
"You're detective Shepard?" she asked
"I am Shepard" I answered, while taking my feet of the desk.
She looked down and started to nervously twitching her hands together.
She stood for about a minute then she finally spoke. "I have a job for you," she said nervously.
"What's the job miss? I asked, while putting my elbows on the desk and folded my hands together.
"My name is Tali'Zorah," She answered. Her hands unfolded I assumed she was losing her nervous etch.
"My father has gone missing," she started. She seemed more determined then nervous.
"And you want me to find him, I'm I right?" I asked. Many of my cases were about missing persons. What I didn't know was that this case was going to different.
"Yes, do you want the job?" She answered, she seemed to relax now.
Those words was about to change my life forever. If I had known how much, I might had turned her down.
