Loki paced back and forth in a cage meant for a beast, that hulk of green rage. He could not believe that that thing had beat the crap out of him.
He was a god. He should be ruling this world not imprisoned by its puny inhabitants. What the heck.
After a few minutes of such contemplation, Loki sensed Thor coming. Great. Could this get any worse?
Using illusion, he watched Thor begin talking to his fake double on the other side of the cage.
"Loki, come home with me. Leave these foolish dreams behind. Fury has agreed to let me take you back. We can be brothers again, just like old times!" Thor said.
I had to ask."Loki? Am I even looking at you!?"
Opening the cage and entering it, shutting the door behind him in a show of trust, Thor began trying to convince him. Again.
Loki grinned and blocked his words out till Thor stopped.
He then asked laughingly, "Are you quite done yet?"
Thor frowned. "Please listen to me. I do not want to have to force you to Asgard."
"Riiiight. I am not a fool. Why would I come willingly when we both know Odin will imprison me there forever. One cage for another? Seriously? Besides, this cage is much easier to escape anyway. By the way, bad move coming in the cage."
"What do you mean?"
Suddenly the illusion Thor hadn't noticed covering the room lifted, revealing Loki on the other side.
"You are pitifully gullible. What do they usually say here? Ah, yes. Catch me if you can!"
"LOKI!!!!!" Thor roared.
Just then, Natasha came running in. She stopped short when she saw Thor.
"Wow. Just wow. You let him get away. I knew it!"
"I did not."
"Fury!!!"
