Title: The Almost Fairytale
Pairing: Almost-sort-ofShiori/Sesshoumaru
Rating: K
Word Count: 236
Summary: A prince and a hanyou. It's almost a fairytale
Note: My first attempt at the pairing…
He was a Prince, in her eyes he was perfect and to be feared.
She was a peasant; in her eyes she was nothing but a groveling peasant when he was anywhere near.
The stately youkai Lord was there again, she didn't know why he would come back; she wasn't inclined to ask, either. His ward, the girl Rin (not really a girl, but a young woman with the kindness and innocence of a child), played in the water while the vassal, Jaken, watched her reluctantly.
And he would simply stroll through the village like it was his. He never stayed long, but he would come back almost every-other-day, at the same time, doing the same thing, and left at the same time.
It almost seemed like a routine for him.
But why did he come back to her village? And why did he watch her?
The hanyou was a mix of flattered and confused, he could have something better to do, why waste his precious time here in this village watching his ward play and a lowly hanyou like her bustle around the village?
She was purely oblivious to him, to what he seemed to want.
He enjoyed her obliviousness, and wouldn't do anything to change it. But eventually he would have to stop coming…eventually he would leave.
And everything would go back to normal.
The prince and a hanyou.
It was almost a fairytale.
