The Ten Commandments of Hufflepuff
1. Thou shalt understand that thou shalt reap what thy sow
2. Thou shalt not judge nor condemn thy brother based on blood nor bond
3. Thou shalt not turn thy back on thou comrade for to do so would be seen as contemptible
4. Thou shalt take accountability for thy own actions
5. Thou shalt toil in quietness and in strength
6. Thou shalt not underhand thyself nor put thy character in vain
7. Thou shalt banish all self-righteousness and humble thyself for thou can never consider themselves "better" than thy brother
8. Thou shalt compensate for all acts of kindness done unto thyself
9. Never shalt thou take for granted that which thou hast been given
10. Thou shalt honor thyselves and thy adversaries for we are all of one people
As a Hufflepuff I am bound by bond to abide these commandments and will show my admiration for the house of badgers by bearing my arms in stride. By way of Hufflepuff no one person who does not bear these commandments is to not be respected as such a Hufflepuff and is to be held in scorn.
