A Rosalie and Emmett Story
I ran through the woods so fast no one would even know I was there. I ran so fast to the most delicious scent I had ever smelt. I could hear it now the roar of a bear and the rip of flesh. He screamed.
Screamed for release. I ran headlong into the bear and killed him instantly, draining his blood in mere seconds. Then I turned to the glorious man now laying sprawled out on the forest floor fading slowly into oblivion.
I new pull filled my chest. I knew what I had to do. I couldn't take his life, I almost hated myself at the thought. But from the moment I saw his face I knew I couldn't leave him here to die. So i picked him up, held my breath and ran for dear life back to the only man I knew could save him. Carlisle.
Edward would understand, we both knew from the beginning we were never meant for each other. Not when 10 years after Royce and his cronies got a hold of me, I still didn't love him, nor him i. Somehow though I already loved this man in my arms. He was beautiful how I imagined Henry would look at this age.
I only hoped I would make it in time, his heart rate was slowly fading. I couldn't help but sob dry tears for his life. A life I, or we, would end up taking away from him.
Once I reached the house in Alaska I called for everyone. Carlise and Edward were the first to come out. Followed by Esme, and the daneli coven. Carlise ran to me and took emmett from my arms, he started patching wounds. But it wasnt working, I could tell by his heart beat, I looked to carlisle as he looked to me. I said one word, Please. He nodded in understanding and then went fot his beautiful mans neck, releasing as much venom as needed to save his life.
And thats how it began, the most wonderful start to a new life, and a new start for me.
