StarvationKen Kaneki

The desert. A place you would've never thought would be your last in this life.

Yet however much your throat crackled; your tongue whimpered; your stomach roared and your soul begged for an end to this madness; your mind was elsewhere.

You, the human, could tame your stomach with the plants and extinguish your throat with cactus water but Kaneki, the ghoul?Where could he get a body ?

"Ken..." Having been stuck in the sands so long, formal dialogue didn't matter anymore, "Ken... Look at me."

Kaneki would not allow himself to look at you, not even a peek. He was appalled of the consequences a stolen glance would lead to. He placed himself far, far away from you. He didn't... He didn't want to-.

He couldn't even bring himself to say it.

"Ken."

No. When did she get this close? He could smell her, she smelled just like, just like his mother's cooking. It was something he could ea-. 'NO! Don't think about it!'

He pulled at his hair and struggled to keep his lower jaw shut. His eye had already clouded, bringing out the crimson of the moon hidden inside. It was so hard to breathe. Every time he did, he inhaled her scent. It- 'NO!'

"Ken Kaneki."

You had seen everything this dessert had done to him. You watched the madness shoving his conscious away over and over and him barely getting control of his body back. You were done with it.

You had made your decision.

You caressed his cheek and smiled, "You're hungry right?" He was crying violently, nearly ripping his hair out trying to hold back the beast, "Please... Please don't do this to me, (Name)!" He didn't want to... He loved her.

You had already removed your shirt. You wanted him to satiate.

Your scent had intensified despairingly and Kaneki had already pinned you to the floor; his other self taking over, "Let me eat you!"

You closed your eyes and whispered, "I love you too."

Kaneki took his first bite.
