Riku had gotten used to his boyfriend's weird antics. Almost, actually, since sometimes Taiga managed to shock him from time to time. He kept Riku on his toes.

Like...now. When he'd stepped into Taiga's apartment to see someone with dark hair sprawled out on the couch, he hadn't thought much of it. Taiga did have friends, after all, even though most of his free time(well, just about all of it) was spent with Riku.

He certainly did not expect that dark head to lift up and grin, brilliantly.

"Hey! You're early today, Riku-chan!" Taiga called, from beneath that mop of dark, still slightly damp hair.

Riku just...stared. Because yes, that was Taiga, that was his voice and his silly, wide grin, but the hair was not, and it just did not compute. Riku felt distinctly annoyed and almost irrationally mad; he hated when Taiga did stupid things to throw him off like that. And in Riku's mind, that was the only reason why Taiga did the silly things he did; to annoy him.

"Taiga. What the hell have you done to your head?"

"I dyed it! My stylist suggested I stop bleaching it and just dye it back to the original color so it doesn't look all crap when it grows out and-"

"Okay, okay, I get it already. It's just...it's really startling. You could have warned me."

Taiga just shrugged, and pushed some of that dark, fluffy hair behind his ear and grinned broadly, in that stupid..endearing way he did and Riku sort of..forgot that he was angry.

"You like it, don't you, Riku-chan? I think it's cute!"

Riku sighed, and grinned a bit as well because when Taiga did it it was contagious, and once he got over the shock of the sudden(unwelcome) change, he had to admit, it really did suit Taiga better then the bleached white color he'd always known.

"Yeah, yeah, it's cute, idiot. Warn me next time you do something weird."
