Notes: Side Drabble to Through the Perceiving Glass.

Though he was used to catching a ride on his large, white, overweight moogle, the change in companions was highly appreciated. The poppy red fur was extremely soft, and ultimately fluffy, as his gloved paws ran though it subconsciously. He was tired at the moment—they both were—from traveling from world-to-world in search of an answer to all the strange happenings recently, and the lion's muted purring would lull him to sleep soon, he knew it, and he would not mind, if not for the fact that they would be arriving at their destination in any given moment.

His 'father' had been eyeing him since the ride began, but had made no comment when Nanaki had not objected to the fairy cat's presence on his backside. His attention soon left his dear robot quickly though, as the young blonde leaning slightly against him told him and his faithful Turks of future plans for the Planet. Cait did not listen to such plans, as his faith relied more towards AVALANCHE, even if he were not with them at the moment.

A low mix between a growl and a purr startled him out of his thoughts as Nanaki shifted his paws from under him and muttered sleepily to the other feline. A grin slipped onto the robotic cat's face when he finally felt sleep beckoning him, as he gave the crimson lion a content reply.

"Thanks… Red. For making me feel…"

Notes on what Nanaki said:

Mutter language (for my own amusement): some… sleep… gotten me comfort… you… too… Night, aibou.

Truthful sentence: Get some sleep, Cait. You've gotten me comfortable, and now you need to be, too. Good night, aibou.

Asa Tasogare: This was… random. And I was not going to be the first person to write NanakixCait here on FF so I didn't. xD Can you catch a hinted pairing though? D
