Rivan skipped out on work.

Again.

Barik scowled. How was it that he drew the short straw Every. Damn. Time.

Cheating bastards just didn't want to be the one to go fetch the temperamental demon.

Barik sighed. Really it wasn't even the fact that he had to drag Rivan back to work, again, that got him so mad, it was the fact that he couldn't find the sky-haired demon! He must have searched half a dozen places where the demon liked to fish and no sign of him.

He sighed again. "Just great, not here either."

He was turning around to leave when he saw something blue out of the corner of his eye.

Figuring it couldn't hurt to see what it was he jogged over. When he got close enough he saw it was indeed Rivan.

Barik sighed "Sir Rivan-" He cut himself off when he realized that the other demon was asleep, the fishing pole slipping in his hands.

Barik smiled slightly at that, then paled when he realized he would have to be the one to wake the other demon up. Everybody knew that Rivan was a holy terror when he his naps get interrupted.

While Barik was busy trying to find a way to get out of this unscathed, he wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings. So it wasn't really a surprise that he jumped when he heard someone yawning.

Barik looked and saw Rivan rubbing his eyes sleepily and gulped. Well the task of waking up Rivan was completed, now all he had to do was convinced him go back to work. Hopefully without getting angry.

He took a breath, about to talk, when a hand grabbed his arm and pulled. Rivan it seemed had moved the fishing pole so that it was now laying by his feet, which left his hands free to pull the lieutenant into his lap, holding him there.

Barik froze. What in the world?

When it seemed that the other demon was about to fall back to sleep he snapped out of his shocked stupor.

"Sir Rivan you need to get back to work, we need to locate the soul gems before the resistance can get a hold of them."

"Nora has the that covered don't hassle me"

"Sir are you really going to trust that mutt to take care of it?"

Rivan just held him, wrapping his arms around his waist, and burrowing his face in the other demons neck. When he spoke his lips brushed across the others neck.

"Chill Barik. Nora has it covered, so just relax and take a nap."

Barik sighed. He knew it wouldn't be long before the general took his own advice. As a last ditch effort he asked, "And you'll work after your nap?"

"We'll see."

Another sigh as he got comfortable. Oh well it will have to do, resting his head on the other demon; he figured he might as well take a nap as well.
