THUD

"Dean," hissed Sam, "get down from there before you fall!"
"Ssshh," returned Dean, "I know what I'm doin', Sam. Not gonna fall. Just keep a look ouuuu—"
The loud thud behind him had Sam spinning around then racing to his brother's side. "Dean!" Dropping to one knee, Sam called worriedly, "Dean? You okay, man?"
Dean held up a finger, waggling it at Sam, indicating he should give him a minute. Several breathless seconds passed before Dean sucked in a breath. "Ow."
"You okay?"
"Yeah. I think."
"I TOLD you…"
"I got it," Dean grinned, holding up the sacred feather.
