The Day They Meet.

"Leah. Find us a compartment yet?" I asked my twin sister, as people bustled through the Hogwarts Express.

She pulled me in a compartment, painfully I might add.

"I'll take that as a yes" I said in my lisp like voice.

We settled down and she started to move her hands, making symbols and such. The reason for this is I haven't heard a sound since I was three. A sad reality but I learnt to live with it. I missed my mother's singing, my father's kind words of wisdom, my twenty year old brother's story's of his job in New Zealand, he's now twenty seven going on five, he's very immature.

Then I saw Leah turn to the door, it had opened and in walked two boys, one with glasses and another with long black hair.

"Honestly. Sirius? Who names their kid Sirius" the one with glasses said. Did I forget to tell you I could read lips, it's harder then signs though, some words I had trouble with but I got the majority of it.

"Obviously, my parents would" the other said. They turned from each other and finally noticed that we exist.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Didn't notice anyone was in here" the one with glasses said, well, more like mouthed due to my deafness.

"It's fine. Sit down if you like" I said before my sister could reject their company. she didn't trust strangers, or anyone for that matter.

"If you don't mind" he mouthed and sat opposite me and Leah, along with the other boy.

"What are your names?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.

"I'm James Potter and this is Sirius Black" he mouthed with a smile.

"Leah and Laurie Lisbon, pleasure to meet you" I said. They started talking and Leah began to warm up to them. I grabbed a book on magical creatures and began skimming over it, looking for interesting things when I felt the vibrations from the door opening and someone must of asked if they could come in because my sister tapped me on the shoulder and looked at me expectantly. I smelt a musky smell, it reminded me of a dog, as I looked at the person who had sandy coloured hair and brownish gold eyes. There was something about him that left me off balanced and intrigued. I nodded, hoping that would be a sufficient answer to whatever the question was. Evidentially I was correct. He sat down beside the boys and pulled out some chocolate. The introductions began again and Leah introduced us this time, she still didn't fully trust anyone but at least she had someone to talk to. She excused me, saying that when I read I fly away from reality, that way no one will try to talk to me. I felt the train start to move and looked out the window, seeing a few small houses float past. I looked back at my book with my deep brown coloured eyes to see a piece of chocolate sitting on the pages. I looked up and saw the sandy haired boy whose name was Remus, or something like that, and saw him smiling, everyone was nibbling away at some chocolate so I decided to try some. It was delicious. I thanked him and gave him a smile before going back to reading. I was so excited to finally be going to Hogwarts, and hopefully these people won't be as malicious as others had been when they found out.

Sorry if it was short and boring but I had to write the way they met. I apologize for the lack of action and intrigue in this story so far. It should get a bit more readable, I mean having twins that are different species from each other is bound to get interesting. Again, I apologize for the lack of WOW (*shudder*) factor. I won't give any promises that I may not be able to fulfill such as; next chapter will be longer, keep reading it gets more interesting and so on and so forth. I just ask that you stay with me and review or something, it does wonders for ones self-confidence. Oh and tell me what house you'd like Laurie and Leah to be in.

Sincerely.
Cap-locks.
