Authors notes: This is a poem due to a request by Chibi Mars. I hope you enjoy the poem. It's based on the love of Minako & Kunzite. Minako is reflecting on emotions that have welled up inside of her after Queen Serenity restored the sailors' memories of the moon kingdom and their past. She recalls her lover and deals with her passion toward him, and her duty to her princess... It sux kind of... though I never like anything I do. * Shrugs * just read I guess...

A Love the time forgot.


Oh these sleepless nights I dread.

The pain in my heart I can no longer stand.

I wish to hold you here in my arms once again,

Though I know that yearning, that wonderful feeling,

I will never feel again.

You are gone, and we can never be reunited.

Loving you might have been a mistake...

Though in the end it has been worth it.

I carry you within my heart always.

I still feel you in everything.

When the wind gently flows in the warm summer breeze,

I remember the feel of your soft breath upon my face.

I know it is you, embracing me from afar,

Whenever the tears well from my eyes and I can't bear the pain.

Our fate has been decided.

My future lies ahead,

An eternity here, with my princess...

Guarding her, and protecting her from all harm is my mission.

A mere shell of what you used to be.

I will never forget you.

And it pains me to see you this way.

I wish I could turn back time and make things as they were.

I want nothing more then to be with you my dearest.

Though I know better.

You are now the enemy.

I have faced the truth, and I have begun to see...

The stars have decided our fate, and I cannot argue.

I can only accept it all.

I can only hope for an ending...

I can only hope that in the end it all returns to happiness.

Hope that the universe will once again return to the peaceful white bliss...

Gods... Please... I ask you to hear my heart filled plea...

I will take the sorrow any day if I only knew that retribution would come as well.

If I only knew for sure that we would be together in the bittersweet end.

If it has to due with you and promises your return to my arms...

I would gladly face the sorrowful pain in my heart any day.
