There's a light that shines
And cuts through this driving rain
And dispels the darkness
But this blinding light
Will not capture me
Because your dreams
Have finally set me free
And I'll hold onto this dream
And keep it in my heart forever
When I look up its hard to see
Through all the tears I've been crying
Still I look up now
Knowing that your love
Is waiting for me
The stars up in the night sky
Bring hopes for a new tomorrow
