Amey27: Hey, so I just started this one and dont know if the readers will like it, so tell me if I should continue or not in your reviews.
An auburn haired girl lay up in a cherry tree, feet dangling slightly off the branch. To be frank, she looked beautiful when she sat up there on a good day like this.
The sun was high up in the sky, and there was a warm breeze, only strong enough to lift a few wisps of hair. These days were my favorite days to sketch, and today I have found the best scene a artist could ask for. Sakura Kinomoto. Call me a stalker or whatever you call it these days, but I couldn't help it. She looked so beautiful and innocent up there when she's relaxed.
Pulling out a threadbare sketch book, I open to the next available page and start by sketching the ancient cherry tree. The sketch was mostly finished in about twenty minutes except for a few details he could add later. Just in time. Why? Because here comes Tamoka and the gang. "Hey Li!" they call to me upon sight. I sigh and hazily wish that they would just leave me out of this. I knew exactly what they were planning, and I did not like it one bit, but I had a reputation to keep so I hesitantly join Tamoka, Jai, James, Mia, and Eriol.
"What's up?" I ask, ever so smoothly. "You know, the usual." Tamoka says, practically flaunting herself at Syaoran. He fought the urge to roll his eyes. He nods and the group moves to his sleeping beauty. This was not going to end well, knowing Sakura.
Once the gang is under the tree, Tamoka takes off her book bag and throws it at Sakura's sleeping figure. I cringe slightly and Eriol glances at me. Upon impact, Sakura wakes up and I have to force myself to not breathe a sigh of relief. She catches the branch just in time and looks sleepily out of her half closed eyes. She yawned cutely and she looked like a cute little monkey. Due to her nap, though, her mid-drift could be seen.
She opened her emerald eyes wider to look at Tomaka with a little bit of curiosity and a bit of anger. Hey! I'd be angry too if I was woken up that rudely. She looked so innocent… and tired. I almost wanted to go over there, help her down and let her sleep in my arms, but I didn't. I couldn't.
"Hey slut," Says Tamoka, eyeing Sakura's mid-drift, "You going to hang there all day?"
Sakura takes one look at her and says "Yep. Why? You have an appointment with me? Or did your nose job take up your schedule?" Ouch. That was below the belt. Everyone knew that Tamoka had a nose job last year. Tamoka could hardly speak. Everyone knew that a) Sakura has the best come-backs b) You should never wake up Sakura when she's asleep c) The cherry tree is Sakura's sanctuary, so never go near it, and d) Sakura could hang off that branch for hours. Dumb stricken, Tamoka cursed and turned on her heel. Haha! Sakura one point, Tamoka zero. I didn't want to leave with them, but Eriol was giving me a look that meant he needed to talk to me.
