Rainbow Dash was busy at work helping Applejack with the Applebucking. Now, she originally planned on staying home and reading the latest Daring Do book, " Daring Do and the Curse of the Green Shadow" ( The Green Shadow is a character I created in one of my video games) but Big Macintosh hurt his ribs and Applejack really needed the help.
Their friend Jacob ( my oc) was originally going to help but he came down with a bad case of the flu. He was in bed rest, being taken care of by his roommate ( and something else), Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash was the next to step up when Jacob got sick.
For the past three hours, they had been bucking tree after tree after tree and Rainbow Dash was getting extremely bored. She giggled like a school fillie when Applejack said they were going to take a break.
" So, what do yaul wanna do, Rainbow Dash?" Applejack asked after she announced they were taking a break. Rainbow Dash gave a mischievous grin when the thought popped into her head. " Oh, I have an idea." She said before snatching Applejack's hat and taking off running. " Keep away!" She yelled while running.
" Hey! Get back here! Give me back my hat!" Applejack yelled,chasing after Rainbow Dash. " Your gonna have to catch me." Rainbow Dash said, while picking up speed. Applejack was furious. She only let her little sister touch her hat and absolutely nopony else.
She bucked a tree, picked up the Apples and started throwing them at Rainbow Dash. One connected with Rainbow Dash's neck. " Oww! Stop that!" Rainbow Dash yelled while continuing to run.
" Not until yaul give me back my hat." Applejack said, continuing to pelt Rainbow Dash with Apples. " Not until you catch me." Rainbow Dash yelled before an Apple connected with her neck again.
" Oh, I got something that will make yaul give it back." Applejack said before turning around and running off towards the barn. That stopped Rainbow Dash dead in her tracks. What was Applejack getting? The thought of it made Rainbow Dash very nervous.
A couple of minutes later, Applejack came back with a very large pumpkin. " What are going to do with that pumpkin?" Rainbow Dash asked. " If yaul give me back my hat, yaul won't have to know." Applejack said.
Rainbow Dash stared at the pumpkin for a couple of seconds before she regained her composure, " No. Not until you catch me." She said. Applejack shook her head and said, " That is what I thought." She lifted the pumpkin over her head and tossed it straight towards to Rainbow Dash. Before Rainbow Dash could take off into the air, the pumpkin connected with her, exploding. She was completely covered in pumpkin guts.
" Ew! Ew! Ew! Ew!Ew!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. It was probably one of the grossest things that has happened to her. Applejack laughed out loud. " That's what happens when yaul mess with my hat." She said.
" I know that now!" Rainbow Dash said, handing Applejack back her hat. " I do admit that kept me entertained during our short break." Applejack said. " That's awesome! Well, let's get back to work." Rainbow Dash said, completely forgetting she was covered in pumpkin guts.
"Yeah, yaul probably should clean yourself off first." Applejack said. Rainbow Dash face hooved herself. " Oh, duh!" She exclaimed before running off to get cleaned up.
