Thinking About You

"Happy holidays, Juvia." Lucy Heartfilia, a petite, blond woman said her goodbyes at the front door of Fairy Tail Company, their workplace.

Juvia, an equally petite, fair, blue-haired woman smiled and watched her friend hurried home. She take a glimpse at her watched, upon sawing that it showed 5.00, Juvia quickly stared at the elevator, anticipating for someone to come.

She smiled when she saw Gray Fullbuster, a colleague of hers. They had been working together for four years. In the beginning Juvia disliked him, but soon she found herself in love with him. After all, Gray was one of the most handsome worker in Fairy Tail Company, and also famous with his talents of art and music.

Juvia watched Gray walked out of the front door to his car. She had muster up enough courage when he was about to open the door of his car.

"Gray-sama?"

"Yes?" Gray looked at her while arching an eyebrow.

"Happy holidays." Said Juvia, she could feel her cheeks burning. Gray looked at her, and then he smiled.

"Thanks, you too." He returned his greeting while entering his car, "And bye."

Juvia watched Gray drove off, let out a contented sigh, and then walked back to her house. She couldn't remember since when she had begun to hate holidays. At every holiday, she always ended up bored in her house, because she had lost her motivation to have fun. And it was because she was thinking about Gray all day long.

It was raining heavily. Juvia was lying on her bed while listening to the rain. Gajeel had called to ask her out for a movie along with Aria, Totomaru and Sol, to which she declined. She don't feel like doing anything.

She began reminiscing the day when they were stuck at the front entrance of the building of their workplace. He had commented that the rain was gloomy, at which Juvia argued with him that it wasn't.

Gray again. Juvia scolded herself, noticing that her thoughts are full of that handsome brunette. After she had fall in love with him, she always paid extra attention to him. She was always worried about him whenever he was sick, always jealous when she spotted any woman who talked to him. She knew he was too good for her, so she kept her distance. But still, she can't control her feelings every time.

With an exasperated sigh, Juvia decided to go to sleep. As she turned off the lights, she silently prayed that her holiday will end soon.

And then, she began thinking about Gray again.

Author's note: This is just a short story I wanted to write about my opinion of holidays. I tried to express the feelings I had through Juvia's perspective. It's nothing good, I just decided to write it out of the blue (without any planning), but still, I hope you guys will enjoy this.
