*So this idea literally just popped into my head while I was thinking about a CP/Slenderman story I had wanted to start a while back. It morphed into something of a mini-story… I guess. Let's start this off with something not so horrific. Introducing Sally's one-shot!*
Everyone was standing around outside, looking at us like some kind of freak show. I've lived a little while, so I might still look like I'm eight years old, and still talk a bit like one, but I'm mature in my mind now. Mr. Slendyman was next to me, watching the humans with his invisible eyes, making sure they wouldn't try to hurt me. We were all in what the humans called the police station. I hugged Mr. T closer to myself, still comforted by him to this day. The police officer shakily typed something on his computer, nodding once in while. I knew Mr. Slendyman was telling him stuff with his telepathy.
Eyeless Jack came over and sat down next to me. "Hey, Sally. How are you holding up?"
"I'm okay… but I'm scared. Zalgo just told us to introduce ourselves since there's too many websites and Benny couldn't take them all down. Now we live with the humans. What are we gonna do? Mr. Slendyman eats them! And you eat their kidneys…"
"I could always go work at a hospital. It would be easy to help the ones that need it, and kidney donors will likely be able to give me some. The food that the humans eat isn't so bad either, or so I've heard from a couple of the others."
"Could I live with you and your human?"
He sighed. "No, Sally. Having even just one of us in a household is almost too much for one family. They already know about us and our habits, and if they don't they can find out on the internet."
"So I won't ever see you again?"
"What? Of course you will! Don't worry, kiddo. We'll all be just fine."
I looked down at the top of Mr. T's head, thinking. "I hope so, EJ… some of them are gonna have to go to jail…"
"Don't worry about them, they'll live. They might even let them go since… well, that's how they live and they can't change it."
I nodded. "I hope so…"
Not long after, a small stack of papers was handed to Mr. Slendyman, who took the papers and began handing them out. They had fancy letters and my name was on the one he gave to me.
"Why do we need birth certificates? Our lives are pretty much already on the internet anyway," Jeff the Killer rasped. "And you put both of my names on the paper, when you only needed to put Jeff the Killer!"
"I just did what he told me to," the policeman stammered, gesturing to Mr. Slendyman. "I didn't want to upset him."
Jeff growled as the policeman began typing again. The printer ran again, and we were all given slips of paper.
"These are the addresses you'll be living at. They are spread out from the city but all of you are within a half-hour of walking distance of each other."
"Last I checked, nobody is assigned a house in your society."
"It just so happened these people decided to come forward and allow you to live in their houses. They are to call us each week… so if we don't get a call, we'll be headed to the house with a S.W.A.T. team.
"They sure are taking us seriously," Helen said as he looked at his papers. "At least I can go to blood donors."
Finally, Mr. Slendyman spoke up. "All of you, leave. I will be along shortly."
Everyone shrugged and Eyeless Jack brought me to the new house I would be staying at. I looked up, it was a condo. However, it was the one who owned all the condos. He knocked, and waited with me. A thin woman opened the door, a big smile plastered on her face.
"You must be Sally! It's nice to meet you, sweetie!" She held out her hand, but I hugged Mr. T closer to myself, squishing the stuffed animal. A small frown formed on her face. "Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Amanda Kellington. Who's this blue-masked fellow with you?"
"I'm Eyeless Jack," he answered.
"He's my best friend."
"I see. Well, you're welcome to come live here if the family you go to is too afraid of you. I've had to deal with quite a few strange people from time to time. I believe I might have even given your friend Jeff the Killer some shelter on a cold winter's night once. I'm very open-minded, as you can probably gather from that."
"Miss Amanda, he eats kidneys… I don't think—"
"Sally, I'll be working at the hospital."
"Are you a doctor?"
"Before I died and became a Creepypasta, I was."
"Oh that's right, I read you had Doctoral degree in almost anything to do with medicine and surgical procedures."
"Well, I'm off. Sally, don't forget, I'm just down the road if you need me. Okay?"
I looked at him, and nodded, looking down at my feet. I went into Amanda's house, looking around as she gave me a quick tour. When she asked me if I was hungry, I almost shook my head "no," but my stomach betrayed me and growled.
"I guess you are! What would you like to eat? I'll make or order whatever you like, and then I'll get you a new dress, whatever kind you want!"
I asked her for pancakes, and she nodded, going into the kitchen immediately and humming to herself as she mixed up the batter. I went to what was supposed to be my room, and it looked exactly like it had at Mr. Slendyman's mansion.
So I was going to live here now? With Miss Amanda? She called me from the kitchen and I went and sat at the table, Mr. T on the chair next to me. She placed down a plate with two pancakes on it, and a measuring cup filled with syrup next to my plate. She had something different, but I ate anyway. After lunch, she took me shopping, and I got some new dresses. I picked out one that looked like Mr. Slendyman's business suit, it had a tie printed on it that looked just like his, and it was all black with lacy edges. I went over to Miss Amanda and she knelt down, holding it up to me, just barely brushing my shoulders wit her fingertips.
"It'll look great on you, but why did you pick this one?"
"It looks like Mr. Slendyman's business suit with the tie."
"You mean the tall, pale man?" I nodded. She smiled. "Well then we can get it for you of course. Anything to keep you happy, Sally."
"Miss Amanda…"
"Yes, sweetie?"
"You know what happened to me, right?"
At my question, she froze. Everyone seemed to go quiet. After a few moments, she sighed, kneeling on one knee again, and looked me in the eyes as she nodded. "Yes, hun, I know. It's hard to forget something like that, and I understand it. Do you know why I understand?"
"Why?"
Her voice lowered to a whisper. "Because my father did the same thing to me. That's why I signed up to take you in, because I can relate to you."
"It was my uncle," I whispered back.
She nodded, then forced a small smile. "Let's keep looking for a few more dresses, okay?"
I nodded, walking along with her as she brought me to a new section, while I looked at other dresses along the way. I liked wearing dresses, they reminded me of my mother and father. I passed by a really pretty dress, and stopped at it. Miss Amanda stopped with me. It was a dress that would reach down to my ankles, it almost looked like a satin dress. It wasn't satin, however. It was a mix of cotton and the poly material. It was shiny, though, and was white. It looked like a dress that I could wear for a party.
"So do you like this dress, Sally?"
"It looks nice."
"Would you like it?"
"I don't know yet. I want to keep looking."
"Alright. I'll get you a few more, okay? I might not be made of money but the condo complex brings in quite a bit of cash."
I nodded, following her again. I picked few more dresses, getting the really fancy white one, and tried on the black one that reminded me of Mr. Slendyman. I liked it so much, and Amanda squealed with delight when I came out of the dressing room wearing it.
"Oh my! You look like a little girl version of that man! You're adorable!"
I smiled. "Can I keep it on for now?"
"Of course, sweetie. Anything you like. Come on, I have to go pay for these."
We went to the checkout counter, and I looked over the counter at the cashier, who smiled at me genuinely.
"Hi, there."
"My name is Sally."
"Nice to meet you Sally. I'm Joslyn."
"That's a pretty name."
"Thank you! Oh, you're the new Sally that just moved in with us, huh?"
I frowned, nodding.
"Ah, I see. Well, no reason to treat you any different from the rest of us! Would you like a sticker? We have animals today."
"Do you have a bear sticker?"
"Yep, here you go!"
Joslyn peeled a sticker off a roll of them, and it really was a bear sticker. It had a brown bear sleeping in a cave. I smiled, and I put it on the back of my hand. We went home, and Miss Amanda made some yummy chicken and vegetables for dinner, with a little bacon on the side.
"Thank you, Miss Amanda."
She smiled. "Sally, you're quite welcome. You can go to bed anytime you like, but please make sure you're all ready and bed by eleven every night, okay?"
"Okay, I will."
I knew I was going to like living with her, but I would never forget anyone who was in the mansion, where I used to live.
*So, did you like it? I figured I'd start with something sweet and work my way up to Slenderman. By no means is this a ranking of worst to best Creepypasta, though! I just wanted to save Slenderman for last, since he's my favorite. Well, see you in the next one shot! It'll be Eyeless Jack's turn!*
