Title:
Prince Draco And The Killing Curse
Rating:

Author Notes:
- Harry Potter, or any of the other canon characters used in this work of fiction, are not owned by me. They are a copyright of J.K. Rowling, Raincoast, Warner Brothers and many other companies, most which I cannot remember at the moment, so I'll merely leave it at that.
- It's a poem. A really stupid poem. I think I shall hurt myself for writing it. I blame Pamela for part of this, just because she deserves it.
- FEATURING SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION!
Special Comments:
Imagine Draco Malfoy as the main character in a screwed up fairy tale that /I/ personally would never tell a child. ...Yeah, the mere idea of that hurts my brain, too. Now, imagine the screwed up fairy tale written as a poem. A really bad poem. A really TERRIBLE poem. Proof that I cannot write poetry. What happens is you wind up with trash like this. Oi vey.
-----------------------------------------
As it all begins, once upon a time,
Please forgive my lack of rhymes,
There was once a beautiful land,
Ruled by King Lucius' controlling hand.
King Lucius was known for his lack of tolerance,
As well as inability to rule with benevolence.
The servants hoped the day would come,
Where the kingdom would be ruled by his only son.
The prince's blood was tainted by lineage.
He was raised as a child of privilege.
The destined future would not make things cease,
Yet they prayed his inheritance would bring peace.
The time had come for a wedding to pass,
Prince Draco sought the hand of a pretty lass.
Invitations were sent to princesses far and near,
In hopes that they would gather here.
The party was splendid, the halls were bright,
Draco danced with the princesses into the night,
Then the time had come for him to name,
Which of the lovely ladies he would claim.
There was Princess Hermione, dressed in blue,
Princess Pansy and Princess Ginny, too,
Yet there was fact that he just couldn't hide,
Prince Draco wasn't able to decide.
Princess Cho clutched tightly to Prince Harry's arm,
The delay in the choice was causing an alarm.
Should Prince Draco not be able to choose,
Such a wonderful kingdom he would lose.
A quick glance spared at the guests gathered,
Told Draco that his dreams may be shattered,
His eyes soon fell upon Princess Cho,
Expression changing to one we all know.
He decided then that he would do what he can,
To win Princess Cho away from that man.
It was not a task that would be accomplished with ease,
Harry was known to be tough to please.
He brandished his wand and proposed a duel,
Prince Harry would have to fight to protect his jewel.
Out into the courtyard they did dash,
Both opposing forces preparing to clash.
It was upon these terms that they did agree,
The duel would begin on the count of three.
However, Prince Draco was not known to be fair,
He used the Killing Curse without a care.
On just the count of two, Harry was dead,
'The Boy Who Died' was what they now said.
Prince Draco approached the prize he had won,
He uttered to her softly, "What's done is done."
Princess Cho had no choice but to marry,
And forget about the man who had been Harry.
They were wed, much to her dismay,
She'll get over things one day, we pray.
And as for Prince Harry who had died,
His land was taken by Prince Draco with pride.
What happens next is something I forget,
Do you have any idea how much I'm in debt?
This lovely poem has come to an end,
I'm lonely. Will you be my friend?
Perhaps you have some money you can lend?
