Elliott Connors was born and raised in the town of Coolsville, Ohio. He lived on the same street as his best friends Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Shaggy Rogers.
In their freshman year of high school, Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Elliott discovered that Shaggy's dog, Scooby Doo, could talk and formed Mystery Incorporated and became famous all over the world for solving mysteries and solving fake monsters.
Fred was the leader of Mystery Incorporated and constructed various traps for the villains. Daphne was the danger-prone damsel in distress. Velma was the brains of the operation. She was often the one to decipher the clues and solve the crimes. Although usually considered cowards, Shaggy, Scooby, and Elliott often proved useful in ferreting out the fake monsters that were usually at the heart of the gang's mysteries, sometimes inadvertently, and sometimes by reluctantly acting as bait for a trap, providing a necessary distraction for their eventual capture.
Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Elliott were in their senior year of high school. Fred and Daphne were dating. They had been dating since sophomore year. Velma, Shaggy, and Elliott were single.
Elliott woke up, got dressed, and walked to the diner across the street. He spotted Fred's 1960's-era panel van in the parking lot. The van was painted blue and had a wavy green stripe and two large orange flowers designed on it. Each side had a green panel with the Mystery Machine painted in orange. The front had a spare tire carrier, which was painted green and had one large flower in the middle of it. Two roof racks protruded from the top of the van to secure further storage. The van was also equipped with green and orange flowered wheels and hubcaps.
Elliott walked into the diner and saw Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy sitting at their usual table.
Fred was sitting next to Daphne. They were holding hands under the table. Velma and Shaggy were sitting across from them.
"Hey guys." Elliott greeted, taking a seat next to Shaggy.
Elliot had fair skin and brown eyes. His short, straight brown hair was styled in an Ivy League cut. His locks were a little longer on the top, allowing him to spike up his bangs. He was clean-shaven. His body was slender but muscular. He wore a black t-shirt, dark blue denim jeans, and black high-top sneakers with black laces.
Fred waved at Elliott. "Hey."
Fred had fair skin and blue eyes. His short, straight blond hair was styled in an Ivy League cut. His locks were a little longer on the top, allowing him to spike up his bangs. He was clean-shaven. His body was slender but muscular. He wore a white tank top underneath an unbuttoned long-sleeved light blue button down shirt, dark blue denim jeans, and brown ankle-length leather boots with silver buckles.
Daphne waved at Elliott. "Hi."
Daphne had fair skin, brown eyes, and a slender figure. Her long red hair was parted in the middle and styled in barrel curls. She wore purple open-toed platform pumps with a 4 inch heel and an unbuttoned pink cardigan over a sleeveless purple dress with a slim fitting skirt that reached her mid-thigh and had a straight, narrow cut. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft pink eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty coral pink colour.
Velma waved at Elliott. "Hi."
Velma had fair skin, brown eyes, and a slender figure. Her wavy brown hair reached a few inches below her shoulders was parted in the middle. She wore red flats and a long-sleeved orange button down shirt tucked into the waistband of a red circle skirt that reached her mid-thigh. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour.
Shaggy waved at Elliott. "Hey."
Shaggy was tall and lanky with medium-length brown hair, brown eyes, and a hint of stubble. He wore a green t-shirt, tan khaki pants, and ankle-length black lace-up boots.
A waitress came up to their table. "What can I get you?" She asked.
Fred ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast with butter. Daphne ordered a Belgian waffle with blueberries and maple syrup on top. Velma ordered the same thing. Shaggy ordered a large plate of pancakes with maple syrup on top.
The gang ate their breakfast and then got in the Mystery Machine. Fred drove to Coolsville High School, found a parking spot, and turned off the engine. They got out of the Mystery Machine and walked into the school.
A few days later
Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, Scooby, and Elliott were in Fred's bedroom. They were looking at his laptop screen. Ian Bennett, a billionaire and the owner of Enchanted Island, an island theme park and resort, had messaged them on Mystery Incorporated's website and said he believed the place was being haunted by a ghost and he wanted them to investigate. Fred replied to the message and asked for directions to the island.
Fred drove the Mystery Machine down the road. Daphne sat in the passenger's seat. Velma, Shaggy, Scooby, and Elliott sat in the back.
Shaggy and Scooby had just finished eating a box of Scooby Snax. The box had been tossed aside.
"Where's the nearest restaurant? I'm starving!" Shaggy shouted.
"Re roo!" Scooby yelled.
Scooby had a speech impediment. Words with beginning consonants were replaced with an "R," and "R" was inserted in front of vowels.
Fred turned the Mystery Machine into a nearby diner and found a parking spot.
The gang got out of the Mystery Machine and walked into the diner. They found a table to sit at and started looking at the menus.
A few moments later, a waitress arrived with plates of food.
Immediately, Shaggy and Scooby began devouring their meals. Onlookers watched, disgusted by their gigantic appetites. Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Elliot were unfazed. They were used to this.
After they finished their food, the gang got back into the Mystery Machine.
The gang arrived at Enchanted Island and were greeted by Ian.
"Welcome to Enchanted Island! Allow me to give you a tour," Ian said.
Ian gave the gang a tour of the park.
The gang was in the parking lot. Ian wasn't with them.
"Let's split up, gang. Daphne, Velma, and I will search the east side of the island. Shaggy, you, Scooby, and Elliot will search the west side." Fred said.
The gang walked off in separate directions.
Fred, Daphne, and Velma began exploring the castle in search of clues. Daphne stumbled into a trap door.
"AHHH!" Daphne screamed as she fell into a hole.
"Daphne, are you okay?!" Fred shouted.
Daphne got up off the ground and brushed off her clothes. "Yeah, I'm fine."
Fred and Velma jumped into the hole, landing next to Daphne.
Fred, Daphne, and Velma were in what appeared to be an underground tunnel. They walked a little further and found clues.
Shaggy, Scooby, and Elliot walked down a hallway full of funhouse mirrors.
Scooby stopped in front of one of the mirrors and started making funny faces. He laughed at his reflection in the mirror. "Ree-hee-hee-hee-hee!"
Suddenly, Scooby saw a ghostly figure looking back at him instead of his own reflection. He froze.
Scooby whimpered. He tapped Shaggy's leg with his nose, trying to get his attention.
"What is it, Scoob?" Shaggy asked.
Scooby jerked his head in the direction of the mirror. Shaggy and Elliot saw the ghostly figure.
"YIKES!" Elliot screamed.
Shaggy, Scooby, and Elliot started running away from the ghostly figure.
Somehow, Scooby got separated from Shaggy and Elliot.
"Scooby Doo, where are you?!" Shaggy yelled.
"Rover rere!" Scooby shouted.
Shaggy and Elliot walked over to Scooby.
"Where's the ghost?" Shaggy asked.
"Ri think we rost rhem." Scooby said.
Shaggy, Scooby, and Elliot turned around and saw the ghostly figure standing behind them.
"Rever rind!" Scooby yelled.
Shaggy, Scooby, and Elliot started running away from the ghostly figure.
Fred, Daphne, and Velma were outside the funhouse. Shaggy, Scooby, and Elliot came barreling into them, knocking them over. They got up off the ground and brushed off their clothes.
Fred noticed the looks of fear on Shaggy, Scooby, and Elliot's faces and asked, "What's wrong, guys?"
"G-G-GHOST!" Shaggy screamed.
Fred, Daphne, and Velma turned around and saw the ghostly figure standing behind them.
The gang started running away from the ghostly figure.
The gang escaped from the ghostly figure, making it to the Mystery Machine.
The gang sat in the Mystery Machine and came up with a plan to catch the ghostly figure.
The gang put their plan into action and managed to catch the ghostly figure.
Daphne pulled out her cell phone and dialed the front desk of the hotel. "Can you put Mr. Bennett on the line, please?"
A crowd was gathered in front of the hotel as Fred, Daphne, and Velma hauled the ghostly figure towards Ian.
Police cars were parked in the parking lot.
Ian pulled off the ghostly figure's mask and saw his business rival, Tony Collins. He gasped. "It's Tony Collins!"
"Yeah! He was dressing up in that ghost costume in the hopes that people would be too scared to come to your resort anymore and it would get closed down." Velma said.
"And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!" Tony shouted.
Police officers handcuffed Tony and shoved him into one of the police cars.
The police cars drove away.
One month later
It was graduation day.
The ceremony was being held in the gym at Coolsville High. The graduates sat in the first row, clad in red graduation gowns and red graduation caps with gold tassels. The guests sat a little farther back.
"Before handing over diplomas to our graduates, here's a word from our Valedictorian, Velma Dinkley." The principal said.
Velma stepped up to the podium and gave her speech.
Thunderous applause followed Velma's speech.
Velma ran to join her best friends among the crowd that had risen to wait for her. As soon as they were reunited, Daphne grabbed her arm and pulled her in for a group hug.
The principal stepped up to the podium and started calling names.
"Daphne Blake."
Daphne smiled as she made her way towards the stage. She shook hands with the principal and the superintendent of the school board before taking her diploma back to her seat.
"Elliot Connors."
Elliot smiled as he made her way towards the stage. He shook hands with the principal and the superintendent of the school board before taking his diploma back to his seat.
"Velma Dinkley."
Velma smiled as she made her way towards the stage. She shook hands with the principal and the superintendent of the school board before taking her diploma back to her seat.
A few more names were called.
"Frederick Jones."
Fred smiled as he made his way towards the stage. He shook hands with the principal and the superintendent of the school board before taking his diploma back to his seat.
A few more names were called.
"Norville Rogers."
Shaggy was the last graduate. He smiled as she made his way towards the stage. He shook hands with the principal and the superintendent of the school board before taking his diploma back to his seat.
The principal addressed the crowd. "Everyone, please rise."
The crowd stood up.
The principal turned to the graduates and said, "Graduates, please move your tassels from right to left."
The graduates did as they were told.
"Congratulations to the Coolsville High School class of 2019!" The principal exclaimed.
The graduates threw their caps in the air.
