A shy, quiet man
Who showed kindness
To an orphan girl
Whose life had only glimmers of hope
But was filled with darkness
Able to show from the bottom of his heart
The love he gave her from the start
Giving her things she never had
Which made her glad
A beautiful soul she would never forget
Because he never did regret
Picking her up from the station
And taking her to their destination
Persuading his sister to let her stay
Not wanting her to be sent away
Hoping to do her good
By loving her like those before him never could
