You Lose Me
I gaze into your eyes.
Your beautiful, dark and dizzy eyes.
I cannot stand it.
They confuse me, and make me so sad.
How in the world could they be so wonderful?
Only God could know such a thing,
Only would I not want to know?
But I could never.
Your beautiful, dark and dizzy eyes,
They confuse me so.
I cannot bare it,
So I turn away.
And I wonder why I did such a thing,
So horrible,
I cannot deny that.
What the hell was I thinking?
Absolutely nothing,
I could not have been,
I was too lost.
Like a black hole they are.
But lost is nothing I cannot bare,
Just as long as it is not you that I am losing.
And so I gaze into your eyes.
