My first Strawberry Shortcake fanfic. Hope anyone who reads it likes it. Full Summary: Huck has come to Berry Bity City looking for the gang. But this time he has the ability to see what has been changed, with a little help. But the girls are acting kind of weird. Huck is now the only boy in Berry Bitty City after all except for some berrykins. So there you have it. Characters are probably a bit O.O.C for the sake of the story, especially the girls. So R&R please.
"Well Shoofly, I guess we better step in to town." Huck says to his pet frog as they stand outside Berry Bitty City. The frog only blinks in response.
"Thanks for the support," Huck tells the frog, sighing. He takes his first step in town and stops again. He breathes deeply.
"Well they must be here. It's the only place left to check. You know other than Berry Big City, but I really don't want to search all of that." The frog gives Huck a look.
"Yeah, okay I know I'm stalling. I'm just kind of scared I guess. I haven't really seen them for a long time. Well it seemed like a long time. I really don't know how long it has been. I seem older so I guess it must have been a few years-"
"RIBBIT!" Shoofly interrupts him giving him that look again. Huck sighs,
"I know, get going. I suppose I should find Strawberry's house first." Huck starts to look around taking a few steps. He keeps walking, making sure to avoid people and he finally stops in front of a strawberry house.
"Well, this must be it." He says, smiling to himself. He goes up to knock on the door, but there's no answer.
"Hmm, she must not be home. I wonder where she is." He starts to think when a voice breaks his thoughts.
"Excuse me, but do I know you?" It's a girl's voice that is slightly familiar to Huck, but he can't place it and turns around. There stands Strawberry Shortcake, looking very confused and maybe a little frightened.
"Strawberry! It's me Huck! Gosh I missed you." He says walking closer to her. She holds her hands out for him to stop.
"Umm, I'm sorry…Huck but I don't know you." She says obviously scared. Huck gives her a very confused look.
"But Strawberry, it's me Huckleberry Pie. I believe the last place I lived near you was Huckleberry Briar." He says giving a hopeful look. Strawberry appears to think for a moment before a look of recognition goes across her face.
"Oh, Huck! I've missed you so berry much!" She says smiling like an idiot.
"That's funny you just sai-ack!" Huck started to say before being tackled to the ground by Strawberry in a hug. Strawberry holds him to the ground for a few minutes while he is in shock. Her content sigh brings him out of it.
"Umm…Strawberry, do you think we could get up now." Huck asks quietly. But Strawberry hears him and repositions herself so that she's looking at him eye to eye, and really close.
"Oh can't we just stay like this for a little longer." She pleads coming a little closer to Huck. Huck gulps.
"Umm, no I would prefer we got up. Like right now." He said, very uncomfortable. Strawberry sighs, but gets up anyway.
"Fine, but you just must come into my house so I can show you around." She says, not waiting for an answer and grabbing his hand. She drags him to her door and fumbles with it a bit. Huck looks around quickly for someone to save him but no one's there. When he turns back around it's to late and He is being pulled into the dark of Strawberry's house.
