With the near perfect cover of a moonless and starless night she left with him. Heart pounding a mixture of anticaption and fear for the unknown. As he held tightly to her hand, pulling her along aside him with quicken strides. She had not asked when where they were traveling to, she trusted him more than she ever thought to be possible to trust another.
"Here, you go first Ginny. I shall be right behind." Stopping at a stuffed child's toy, strangely out of place, just sitting in the field.
"We can go to together Lucius." She knew he won't allow for that.
"No, its safer this way, now go!" Simultaneously they turn from each other to distance shouts soaring above them. A half dozen brooms circled the air.
"Please go first Lucius! I can talk to them!" Ginny begs, tears forming without consent. He turns back and gently kisses her lips, before she can react to this her ears are filled with the shout of "Avada kedavra!" He falls ungracefully at her feet.
"No!" The tears start to fall, she hears a broom rider land and rush towards her.
"Ginny you're safe now. Come on." She stares directly into his green colored eyes that were full of concern and passion for her.
"You bastard! I was safe!" Violently she pushes him down knocking him to the ground.
"I I I don't understand."
"He wasn't hurting me Harry, don't you understand that!? I loved him." She turns from him back to the other body on the ground sobbing again.
