I don't own Digimon. If I did, it would be this angsty little thing with me and my friends as the Digidestined -- like the story I'm planning. ^_^
Author's Note: It's finally here! Wheee!! I just thought I might clear this up, considering how both the reviews I received told me to continue this...that was technically the end, not counting this epilogue here. I also caught a time-slip in this, if any of you nitpickers (Me! I'm a nitpicker!) wanted to know. Anyways, on with the Epilogue.
13 years later...
Sora Takenouchi was watching as her best friend Mimi was talking with her husband Koushirou, and her own fiancé Taichi. It was the middle of spring and they were waiting for Matt, Joe, TK and Kari to arrive. It was just a nice little get-to-together that the "originals" had planned that day. Sora frowned as she lifted and balanced the tray of lemonade glasses beside her and walked over to her friends and her love.
Boy, that Tennis is paying off. It's hard to balance a tray this heavy. She thought to herself.
"Oh, hey, look's...there's Sora!" Mimi cried out, causing Taichi and Koushirou to look up.
Taichi got up and ran over to Sora and relived her of the tray. He placed it down on the table where he'd been sitting with Koushirou and Mimi.
"What were you guys talking about?" Sora asked.
"Oh, we were talking about the week before camp." said Mimi.
"Oh." Sora remembered that week quite vividly. All that week, there had been a voice telling her that she'd been waiting for her, the voice of someone female, that she didn't know then, though she did now. Someone she's never forget.
"Yeah, I didn't feel any different or anything. Though..." Taichi's voice drifted off as Sora became engulfed in her thoughts, She looked at the beautiful blue sky outside. There wasn't a single cloud.
Yes, it was a voice she came to know very well. A voice that belonged to someone would think this was a perfect day to fly, like a bird in the sky...
I came, didn't I, Biyo?
THE END
