"SIT" Kagome yelled just before jumping down the well.
It was a week before her 18th birthday and she was hell bent on going home, Naraku long since defeated with the help of Sesshomaru and the young female inu who had yet to be named at his side, who helped her purify him to a human in order to kill him. Since then they had be traveling around to find the remaining shards while Sesshomaru killed off what was left of Naraku's army.
Once in a while the female inu would show up and give them a shard or 2 then leave without a word.
Kagome sighed as she climbed out of the well and started to walk towards the house.
"Mama? I'm home!"
"Kagome! Come here we must talk" Kagome's mother called from the living room.
"What is it, mama?"
"Kagome...I'm afraid to tell you this but I'm not your mother..."
"W-what?"
"And your name isn't even Kagome, nor are you human."
"I..I don't understand"
"I'm so sorry, dear, but it was to protect you. Your father said he'd come pick you up and explain everything soon but for now we must prepare for your 18th birthday"
"W-what happens then?"
"You transform into a wolf demon"
"A wolf demon?" Kagome leaned up against the wall thinking 'what the hell is going on?'
"Yes" the one she always believed was her mother went over and put a hand on her shoulder. "You Kagome are a guardian, guardian of the wolf demon race
